The Soft Tissue Centre has been working with Red Meat Processors for the past 8 years. This is not only one of the most problematic industries, but the one in which we have demonstrated the success our techniques and built our reputation. We have managed over 8,000 unique injuries with our patented early intervention program.

We currently average 2.8 visits to release for workplace injuries, which equates to about $240 per case. Our success rate is 98%, with 99% of staff receiving treatment staying on full duties, giving these clients increased operational flexibility.
There are six trends that are of note with this group of patients:

  • Over 50% were under the age of 36
  • 51% of the injuries reported are in the upper limb
  • Over 30% are classified as RSI or nerve entrapments
  • 85% of patients cannot recall the onset of symptoms
  • The injuries were equally distributed between the dominant side, the non-dominant side and a bilateral presentation
  • 63% of the patients smoked, drank alcohol or did both
